Under the Sea

Under the sea I can see

A calmly waving pink anemone

As I swim through the waves that swish and swirl,

I suddenly spot a sparkling white pearl.

A rough, speckled oyster has opened for me,

Tickled by the tentacles of the anemone.

I dive right down and grab the gem

And wave goodbye to my underwater friends.

A Summer’s Day

The flowers smell lovely and sweet,

As the wild birds whistle and tweet.

The bees buzz by so busy and quick,

As I give my ice-lolly a great big lick!

The swans so graceful on the lake

It’s the greatest day I could ever make.

The Great Fire of London

London, London burning on fire,

Oh no no this is not what I desire,

You’ve burn’t down my house and stolen all my food,

You’re mean and unkind and very very rude.

You’re burny and bright like a rainbow but I still hate you so much!
